Join us for an adventure like none other.  We are heading to Big Sky Montana for 7 days of winter fun for both skiers and non skiers alike.  Skiers will enjoy the ski in ski out accommodations at Big Sky, while all will enjoy the array of winter activities we have lined up featuring snowmobiling in Yellowstone National park, dog sledding, sleigh riding, zip lining, plus the ease of walking to dining, shopping and lively nightlife in Big Sky village.

Enjoy a day of snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park where you will witness the pristine beauty of the park, wildlife in their natural habitat, the power of the Old Faithful Geyser and more.

Enjoy a dog sledding tour where you will be whisked away by the team of dogs on a pristine trail.

Enjoy a zip lining excursion, where you glide above the tree tops on a harness and cable and witness the snow glistening on the trees below you.

Enjoy a sleigh ride to a mountain hut for drinks and then return to a scenic lodge for an included dinner.
Plus the fun of snow tubing, snow shoeing and lively nightlife all within walking distance of our picturesque lodge in the village of Big Sky Resort.

DAILY ITINERARY:

Saturday JANUARY 7TH – ARRIVE ON YOUR OWN FLIGHT ARRANGEMENT INTO BOZEMAN MONTANA.  Shuttle transit to Big Sky is available through Karst Stage at Bozeman airport.  Check in at the Huntley Lodge at Big Sky.

Conveniently located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this three-story hotel was part of the late NBC news broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision.  The Huntley complex includes Chet's Bar & Grill, coffee cart in the Firehole Lounge, concierge, shops, ski storage, meeting rooms and Solace Spa.  Work out facilities are located in the Huntley Lodge lower level

Two outdoor Jacuzzis are also on site for relaxing after a day of winter fun.  We will enjoy nightly Jacuzzi socials each evening before dinner, so don’t forget your swim suit!

The Solace Spa is also ready to handle your massage and other spa desires.

The lodge is ideally located to be perfect for both the skier and non skier.  Skiers will love its ski in ski out convenience and non skiers will love its location right in the center of the many shopping and dining opportunities.  When the sun goes down, the nightlife kicks up its heels with over 20 places to eat, drink and be merry, many featuring live bands for your entertainment.

This evening we will have a welcome orientation at the lodge.

Sunday January 8th – Today we will enjoy a thrilling adventure.  We are going Zip lining over the snow capped forest.  Our Zip lining tour begins at 10am, giving all a chance to enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet at the Huntley Lodge, which is included for all passengers in our group.

Our Zip lining tour places us in the safety of a harness and cable to glide over the beauty of the snowy trees. We will also enjoy the fun of snowshoeing with a professional guide leading the way in between each Zipline.  The scenery is beautiful and the thrill is exciting.

Lunch is at your leisure in the village and free time to shop the many great avenues of Big Sky Village
At 4pm we will enjoy an included Snow Tubing excursion.  This is another thrill as you slide down a groomed hill on a snow tube. 
Passengers wishing to skip either of day’s activities are free to enjoy the amenities of Big Sky at your leisure.

At 6:30pm we will enjoy the first of our nightly Jacuzzi socials in the 2 large Jacuzzis on the outdoor deck of the Huntley Lodge.  This is your time to relax, soak in the scenery with a cold drink in a hot tub and share stories of your day’s adventures with others.

Dinner is at your leisure to enjoy the many dining opportunities of the village, all walking distance from the Huntley Lodge.

Monday January 9th – Today is a day at leisure.  Skiers will love the week day skiing at Big Sky, with some of the shortest lift lines in N. America.  Ski in Ski out ease from the Huntley Lodge makes the start and end of your ski day the best it can be.
Non skiers have a myriad of opportunities such as great shopping, spa treatments and more all walking distance from our hotel.
We will gather at 6pm in the Jacuzzis on the Huntley’s scenic outdoor decks for another Jacuzzi social, to share stories of the day’s good times.

Tuesday January 10th – Today we will enjoy another thrilling adventure.  We are going dog sledding.  After our daily included breakfast buffet we will be picked up at 9am for an adventure that takes gliding across the snow cover sledding trails on a sled pulled by a team of dogs.  Relax and enjoy the scenery or if you wish, take a turn standing in control of your sled, as the dogs are so well trained anyone can enjoy the thrill of holding the reins and watching the dogs do their thing.  Our tour lasts approx. 2 hours and we will be returned to the Huntley Lodge by mid day for the afternoon at leisure
You will be awed by the power, sense of camaraderie and teamwork of the sled dogs.
                  

At 6pm, we will enjoy our nightly Jacuzzi social on the outdoor deck of the Huntley Lodge and then another free evening to explore the many dining and nightlife options all walking distance from our hotel in lively Big Sky village.

Wednesday Jan 11th – Today is another free day.  Skiers will again enjoy the ski in ski out location of the Huntley Lodge and non skiers will again have many options to enjoy at their leisure.
Don’t forget our nightly Jacuzzi social at 6pm tonight.

Thursday January 12th – Today we will enjoy a full day adventure in Yellowstone National Park.
No trip is complete without a tour of Yellowstone. This winter wonderland of over two million acres is home to over 10,000 thermal features, including Old Faithful geyser. It is common to see bison, elk, moose, trumpeter swans, eagles and much more while snowmobiling in Yellowstone

Yellowstone in a mantle of snow is an astonishingly beautiful park.  Steam rises from the hot springs, geysers and fumaroles; bison wander across vast snow-covered fields and drink in streams sparking with ice crystals, and Old Faithful performs for guests at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge
 

We will be picked up at our hotel following our included daily buffet breakfast.  We will be driven approx. 75 minutes to the snowmobile lodge just outside Yellowstone. 

We will be fitted with a snowmobile helmet and then we will enjoy a guided tour into the park on 2 seat snowmobiles.  Each seat has its own handle bars which are heated to keep your hands warm on our journey, as well as each seat having its own back rest to make your ride even more comfortable and enjoyable.  

AN OPTIONAL CLOTHING PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE FOR $17 INCLUDING BOOTS, SUIT, HELMET, GLOVES AND FACE MASK, or you can provide your own attire if you prefer and your helmet will still be provided to you at no cost. \

WE WILL RIDE 3 HOURS TO OLD FAITHFUL STOPPING TO SEE WILDLIFE ALONG THE WAY AND ALSO STOP TO SEE THE THERMAL MUD POTS, SMALLER GEYSERS ETC.

WE WILL ENJOY 2 HOURS FREE TIME AT OLD FAITHFUL FOR LUNCH ON YOUR OWN AT THE RESTAURANT INSIDE THE LODGE AND VIEWING THE ERUPTION OF OLD FAITHFUL (EVERY 75 MINS.).

WE WILL ENJOY A GUIDED RIDE BACK APPROX. 2.5 TO 3 HRS. ON A DIFFERENT ROUTE TO SEE WILDLIFE.

WILDLIFE SPOTTED EACH WAY CAN INCLUDE WOLVES, BISONS, ELK, COYOTES, BALD EAGLES, SWANS,   WE ARE IN THEIR HOME, SO WE CAN SEE THEM IN THEIR NATURAL HABITAT AND STOPS WILL BE MADE FOR ANY WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS.

Upon our return to the snowmobile lodge we will be transferred to the shuttle which will take us back to Big Sky and our accommodations at the Huntley Lodge. 
Our Jacuzzi social tonight will be at 7pm (or simply 30 minutes after our return from Yellowstone estimated to be between 6 and 6:30pm)

Friday January 13th – Our Final day is a free day.  Skiers will enjoy one more great ski in ski out day on the slopes and non skiers will enjoy a final day of shopping and spa services if you wish.
This evening at 5:30pm we will enjoy a 15 minute sleigh ride to a mountain lodge where chili, cheese, hot cider, hot chocolate, and warm Schnapps are served.  We will enjoy the ride back down the mountain and then enjoy an included farewell group dinner at the base lodge.
Each Sleigh holds 4 passengers for the 15 minute ride up and down the mountain.

Saturday January 14th Depart Big Sky via Karst Stages shuttle service to Bozeman Montana airport arranged to meet your flight time.

A $200 deposit is required within 7 days of making a reservation on this tour.

Deposits are refundable if cancelled by Sept. 1st and non refundable if cancelled thereafter.

Balance payments are due Oct.5th and are non refundable.
