ICELAND June 17 2011
Today was the Independence day in iceland. there were street festivals all day and free concerts outdoors that we went to this evening. there is fun in the air and sunshine until well past midnight.
Friday May 17th, 2011 - TIBET CHINA
Yesterday our group arrived in Lhasa Tibet after spending the 1st three days of our 2 week china/tibet tour in Beijing.
Today we visited the amazing Potala Palace. Its unlike any other palace in the world and has been home to Dalai Lamas for centuries (we learned there have been 14 Dalai lamas suceeding one another over the centuries)
Tommorow we visit two Tibetan Budhist monasteries and then sdome of us are going on an optional hike in the mountains.
In Beijing the highlight was the Great Wall of China It is an amazing sight. Some of us climbed its stairway to the top - over 1300 stairs each way. It took 2 hours round trip for the climb, but it was a great experience.
AMAZING SIGHTS OF TURKEY - APRIL 2011
We are ın Istanbul on our fınal nıght of thıs excıtıng trıp. Some of us went out tonıght to enjoy the hoppıng nıghtlıfe here.
Over the 10 days we saw the amazıng natural rock formatıons ın capadoccıa, sat ın the natural hot sprıngs of Pamukale, the palaces, churches and mosques of Istanbul, the ancıent cıvılızatıon of Ephesus and much more.
Nıghts brought local shows featurıng Turkısh tradıtıonal song and dance.
All together ıt was an excıtıng tıme. We wıll do ıt agın same tıme next year.
India 2010 Nov. 9, 2010
This morning we visited the incomparable Taj Mahal.
It was more than an incredible sight. The Taj is perfectly symetrical and even casts a beautiful reflection on the pool in front of it, making an identically symetrical reflection.
It was amazing to see the Taj Mahal and many in our group just stood in awe.
Next its off to nepal tomorrow to see Mount Everest. Some are taking a flightseeing tour and others a hiking tour.
NOV. 13TH, 2010
Today we enjoyed to incredible experiences.
We took a flightseeing tour over Mount Everest in the morning. The views of the tallest mountain in the world were breathtaking!
In the afternoon, some of our passengers enjoyed a guided hike in the Haimalayas offering more astounding panoramic views!
Costa Rica trip Nov. 27-Dec. 6, 2010
Nov. 30
Wow what an incredible country Costa Rica is. Today we took a zipline excursion where we were harnessed to a cable and zipped at approx. 30-45 MPH along the tree lines about 300 to 400 feet in the air. It was a thrilling experience !
We also did a hike on a lava field walking on rocks formed from volcanic eruptions in 1968.
Tommorrow we go white water rafting.
Dubai - New Year's trip 2010/2011
We escaped the blizzard of NY and made it to the picture perfect weather of sunny Dubai. This is truly the land of oppulence. The buildings are all ultra modern, the landsacaping is impeccable and the nighlife hops til the wee hours.
We toured Abu dhabi and saw an incredible mosque yesterday. Today we tour the beatiful mountains of the east coast and even crossed the border to visit Oman. Tonight we skiied on the largest indoor ski slopes in the world (the slopes are taller than a 10 story building)
Tomorrow we will go to the observation deck at the top of a 6 star hotel to view the chain of islands that are designed in the shape of the 7 continents of the world. We then go on a sand dune safari tommorrow followed by the incredible new year's eve in the desert celebrations. It will be great fun !
